Medibank is known as a leader in Diversity & Inclusion. They’ve always been bold in their approach, tackling big issues and challenging preconceptions.  They’re the sort of client who come to you asking to be taken out of their comfort zone. Lovely.

Designed to kick off leadership training and discussion, this story was a tough nut to crack. It had to feel like it was out of the same stable as the previous video while taking the conversation further. We also had to set the scene for the training, opening up the room to talk about uncomfortable subjects. And, of course, we had to use real employees and real stories. 

Interviewing a generous and passionate cast, we listened between the lines to draw out a story that resonated. In the end, we created an unrelenting, unflinching look at bias — and the voices that are silenced when we don’t challenge it in the moment. The production far exceeded expectations. So much so that the client has taken it beyond the original internal audience to share with the rest of us on social.
